Want this done for you, every session?
FitJur knows your last sets, so it tells you the next weight before you even ask. Log a set by typing it, and your AI Coach keeps the rest.
How it works
The calculator takes the bar weight off your target, halves what is left, and fills each side starting from the heaviest plate you ticked. That is the same thing you do in your head, just faster and without the mistakes at the end of a hard session.
Tick only the plates your gym has. Commercial gyms often stop at 20 kg or 45 lb and have no fractional plates, which changes the answer.
If a weight cannot be made exactly with your plates, you see the closest weight you can load and how far under your target it is.

| 40 kg | 10 |
| 50 kg | 15 |
| 60 kg | 20 |
| 70 kg | 25 |
| 80 kg | 25 + 5 |
| 90 kg | 25 + 10 |
| 100 kg | 25 + 15 |
| 120 kg | 25 + 25 |
| 140 kg | 25 + 25 + 10 |
| 160 kg | 25 + 25 + 20 |
| 180 kg | 25 + 25 + 25 + 5 |
| 200 kg | 25 + 25 + 25 + 15 |
Questions
How much does the bar weigh?
A standard Olympic bar is 20 kg or 45 lb. Women's bars are 15 kg or 35 lb. Fixed EZ bars and many gym-brand bars are lighter, and the weight is usually printed on the sleeve.
Do collars count?
Spring collars weigh almost nothing. Competition collars weigh 2.5 kg each, so add 5 kg to your bar weight if you train with them.
Why can't I load my exact weight?
Your smallest plate decides the smallest jump. Without 1.25 kg plates the bar only moves in 5 kg steps, and without 2.5 lb plates it moves in 5 lb steps.
