User Data Deletion
Last updated: July 27, 2026
You can delete your FitJur account and all of the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to do it yourself, and how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in.
Delete your account from Settings
- Sign in to your FitJur account.
- Go to Settings → Security.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery period — once confirmed, the data is gone and we cannot restore it.
Request deletion by email
If you would rather not do it yourself, or you cannot sign in for any reason, email us at [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify the request and delete your data within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is done.
If you signed up with Facebook or Google and have forgotten how to get back in, you can also set a password by email and then use the Settings route above.
Removing the Facebook connection
You can disconnect FitJur from Facebook at any time under Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Removing the app stops any further data sharing between Facebook and FitJur, but it does not by itself delete the FitJur account — use one of the two methods above for that.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account details (name, email address, password, and any linked Google or Facebook profile)
- Workouts, programs, exercises, sessions, and logged sets
- Nutrition data — meals, food logs, water intake, recipes, and meal plans
- Body and health data — weight, measurements, and sleep logs
- AI Coach conversations and chat history
- Your preferences and settings
What we may keep
We retain only what the law requires — for example billing and tax records for invoiced payments, which we must keep for a statutory period. These records are kept in isolation and are not used for any other purpose. Encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis, so a copy of your data may persist in backup storage for a short period after deletion before it is overwritten.
