1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using FitJur, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use FitJur. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you sign in through a third-party provider (such as Google or Facebook), you are also subject to that provider's terms. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use FitJur only for its intended purpose of personal fitness tracking. You may not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract source code or data
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to train machine-learning models

5. Not Medical Advice

FitJur is a fitness-tracking tool, and its AI Coach provides general fitness and nutrition information based on the data you enter. FitJur is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or professional health advice. The Service is not a substitute for the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a qualified healthcare professional.

Always consult a physician or other qualified provider before beginning any exercise, nutrition, or weight-management program, particularly if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in FitJur. If you experience a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. You use the Service and any AI-generated suggestions entirely at your own risk.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

FitJur offers a free tier and one or more paid subscription plans ("Pro"). Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) until cancelled. Prices and features are shown at the point of purchase and may change with notice. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

7. Intellectual Property

FitJur and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Your personal data remains yours — we claim no ownership over your fitness data, nutrition logs, or chat history, and you grant us only the limited licence needed to operate and provide the Service to you.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or AI-generated suggestion is accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injuries, health issues, or losses that may result from following AI Coach suggestions or using the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Romania, unless mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or by email. Your continued use of FitJur after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
